I have been 99% PvE for 6 months, never did like GvG, just to dang chaotic, but I tried
out the new Assassin character over the weekend for a change and a great time, kind
of confusing at first, being in mission towns, and not being able to figure out what needs to be done to complete it ??
I did learn a few things, like a four-man trapper team (r/a) is a blast, it was amazing
to have 12 traps setup and watch one of the six computer teams come running into them, I could not beat the VIM or IWAY team with the henchies, but with the trapper team, the entire IWAY team fell dead and we did not even have to fight, it was so
funny, that was worth playing right there IMO.
thx Anet

90% PvP GvG, Tombs, TA, and if I am really bored or masochistic, RA =/
10% PvE (Go to new area, beat new area in 40 minutes because AI is still retarded, do 3 runs with guildies, back to PvP). If ever want a truly fun and interesting PvE experience, I'll just load up Neverwinter Nights or Fallout 2.

80% GvG (i try to start it up as soon as i get online, assuming we have the right people)
15% PvE (still have some kinks to work out in my pve characters to make them pvp-worthy)
5% Tombs (like siggy said, its just so boring these days once you have rank 9 and all you see in there is iway and ranger spike and edrain, the same 3 builds over and over and over)

100% PvE.
I've dabbled a bit in PvP in the past and got into some snowball fights at Christmas, but that's it.

I should be able to get this number down once I'm done grinding for the rest of the skills.

70% PvP, 30% PvE. I've almost unlocked all skills, so after that probably more PvP. PvE gets boring after a while, but when Chap2 comes out I'll probably do all PvE till I finish the story at least once.
I don't understand why so many people on this forum don't play PvP at all. This game was designed primarily around PvP and if you don't play it, you're missing out on at least half the game.
And there's a huge difference between a FPS and a game like GW. Comparing the two is silly.

99.9% PvE
I try to spend at least 5 minutes in CA every month just to remind myself why I don't PvP more often - boooooring (IMO)
Although I am going to force myself to PvP so that I can get a silly emote. Talk about grinding - Getting an emote will be grinding hell!
Anyway as it stands right now, EVERYTHING that you accomplish in PvE can always be used in PvP.
NOTHING that you accomplish in PvP can be used in PvE (aside from those emotes )
So for me, PvP seems to be a silly waste of time Do you other PvE players feel the same way? Work without tangable reward?

Pretty much 100% PvP.
Never finished the story. Never been to Sorrow's Furnace on live, although I did help test it in Alpha. Own exactly zero green items, zero dragon swords, zero pieces of 15k armor. I have yet to dye a single piece of anything.
I did start a PvE char a month or so ago to hopefully level to use in the regional tournaments, but he's sitting at level 10 unplayed except during events in LA.

When I first started, I avoided PvP quite a bit, dabbling in the ascalon arena, then the yaks bend arena, but that was it. I spent my time exploring, unlocking skills, getting 15k armor, and finishing the storyline.
Now, it is closer to 75% PvP, 25% not (chatting with people, farming, doing a random quest, just sitting there, it varies). Now that I am in a guild that does a fair amount of HA, I can actualy enjoy it, rather than spending my time shouting for an iway group

Probably around 90% PvE and 10% PvP, I only really PvP when the guild needs me for GvG or TA.
